Hey everybody, I just got back from Scotland so this is very brief and I will have a longer video tomorrow and more, but I just wanted to pass this on what a disgraceful day it was but at the same time the GOP is digging its own grave.
Disgrace doesn’t begin to cover the Smith hearings. Jim Jordan needs to evaporate. The damage inflicted by Republicans is real and palpable. Adam, I hope your Blue Wave prediction comes to pass.
Yeah I agree Marlene. Even Trump is facing limits on big things, like his reversal on Greenland this week (TACO Don in action). Trying to shutdown an election is just as difficult as trying to fix an election.
The GQP may tinker around the edges on these things, but it will come to nothing.

Never is a strong word. I believe there are more folks out there who believe as I do that everyone deserves a chance at the "American dream." Don't let this criminal mob boss turn you negative. Every country at some time and even today has used slaves to build an empire and has stolen lands from others. Usually using religion as their mantra. I'm not saying it's right, it's not but we need to keep moving forward. Never stop fighting, never stop dreaming. To do so is to die and I will fight to live and I will fight this good fight with my last breath and continue to get in good trouble.

I don't believe the numbers show 1/3 of the population, but I see your point. I practice psychiatry and we will always (another strong word) have folks like that around. Sociopaths (or the former psychopaths as we used to say) are way more common in the USA than I ever believed along with narcissists. Both of these types of individuals can be quite charming because it's in their DNA to deceive and be self centered. And racists too, I always knew they were around but like cockroaches they stayed underground. The orange clown has given license to them so they are more visible now, but they've always been there. One must stay aware of this and never jump at trusting someone because they seem "nice." Trust takes time and is built in small increments. One can be friendly but still question things. Question authority, think for yourself, and always continue to train your critical thinking skills. I've walked away from a 60 year relationship with a family member, a cousin who drank the cool aid in 2020. It hurt really bad but I'll never back down and I would do it again. I learned their true nature, their true lack of integrity, humanity and empathy. I'd rather know the true nature of a person and be able to drop them out of my life and stop wasting my time, then continue with blinders on. Life is short, and the aging process can be cruel, best to move forward and put your losses in the rear view mirror. So I'd say we overcome the lack of trust, one day at a time, slowly, but always move forward.
The hearing was a joke by MAGAts. Davos was humiliating. Continued terror an cruelty by ICE and sneaky anti Constitutional human rights protections secretly communicated to agents is their craven attempt to incite Americans to revolt. Then, Martial law, no elections.
I must say that watching Meidas Touch report on the testimony made me feel better. Hopefully, many will watch this podcast. Ben Meiselas certainly picked out good clips from it and he was optimistic in his explanations.

I am still very concerned about the mid-terms being rigged. Feel like they have already laid the groundwork for the results to be overturned. Then you have 2028. Trump mentions the "inauguration" in his new ballroom with the new bunker. I think they anticate civil unrest and the new bunker will be their refuge. I have a very bad feeling about all of this.
This is not a time to be ruled by your feelings. Search until you find a way to work that fits your needs and location. One place to start might be familiarizing yourself with your state's election process. Blue states are not snoozing on this (and it is the state that runs elections).
Suzanne, don't allow yourself to be ruled by your 'beliefs.' One way we can all help is by making sure turnout is so big that our victories are decisive.

I can’t believe how triggered I was when Jordan spoke in the beginning. I wish he was being convicted!!! I had seen Smith’s other testimony. They were both the same except the Republicans made it political. It was awful!! I don’t want to think about how FOX NEWS will review it!! To me, it was a waste of time. There was no testimony. Smith’s hands were tied and Republicans were in “attack” mode!! I wanted to see him stand up to the Republicans. I guess he couldn’t. I was disappointed.
