Who would align with us now? Certainly not Canada, not Europe, doubtful any nations in Africa or Middle East (exception is Israel). Japan might come along side us but no one in Central and South America would (IMHO). I'm not sure but it seems that's the task before us. I think giving people courageous leaders to model on and building their courage with small wins that build strength and confidence might be the path. Leaders like Pritzker and Newsom and the organized demonstrations going on now are crucial in that regard. People will be emboldened as they see each other take risks and get results, even if small at first. This is why each act of resistance is so important. I'm reminded of Nemik's Manifesto. It's a fictional document to be sure but filled with truisms nonetheless. People with a reawakened sense of their power and ability may not flood into the streets but they may get up and vote.
That's an interesting idea. Of course, underlying all efforts to take back our government will be solidarity. This, above all, will be needed to succeed.

Trump is quickly going to become a "lame duck" President, Anne. He is destroying his popularity by blundering at nearly every turn. As you know, every President gets a "honeymoon" time after being elected. His is over, in my opinion. It's all downhill from here, unless he produces successes (mostly). It is time for Congress to begin impeachment proceedings starting with Pam Bondi and Kennedy. It has the power to save the country. Even starting the proceedings will be beneficial as they will need to react and spend time defending themselves.
