to state the obvious, trump is hitler, and his cult and political toadies are the nazi civilians and political toadies of the 1930s. his playbook follows hitler's playbook almost exactly, so far.

Again, the movie Downfall (2004) shows the final days of that evil regime. The parallels to what we are seeing daily are amazing...

Stalin executed 80 million during his reign. Everyone who was smarter than he was. Putin is just as evil and has "executed" many. Trump admires that. Do away with those who oppose you. Silence all who complain.

Those who were here for the "Soviet Union" and the Cold War remember the guard towers with armed guards to keep citizens from escaping. Nobody wanted to cross the border from the other side.

Biden needs executive action right now to pass the Senate bill for the Ukraine. Today a decision may be made on the financial fraud committed by the Trump Org. Those who have read books like 1984 are wary of TRUMP everywhere and in our faces. Real Americans are not going to accept a dictator.

If the SC rules Presidents have immunity, Biden should be able to throw Trump and Carlson into Guantanamo for treason. Trump is banking on Biden being fair and just, maybe he won't be. He is 82, what does have to lose?

I will never forget Alexei Navalny. Thank you for this tribute to his courage - and the contrast to the cowards in the Republican party who put themselves before country.

This is sad news for Navalny’s family and those who held out hope that he could lead a successful redirection. However, this is also very good confirmation that Putin believes he is in trouble. First, he removed the anti-war candidate from the national ballot because the candidate was getting too much traction. Secondly, Putin granted his first wartime interview with an American Idiot to try to regain control of a narrative he is losing. Now he had to eliminate the man who publicly exposed the corruption in the Putin regime. All of this has happened in just the last two weeks. We are winning the war and we need to ensure those paying the ultimate price continue to have our support to finish the job.

My grandfather who served in world war II. We are blessed that he is still with us but the horrors he has told us about that. He witness under Hitler..... Nightmarish doesn't even begin to describe the stories I've heard.

I personally know a 102 year old veteran who served in the 2nd Armored Division under General Patton from 1941-1946. We must al honor their service by preserving our democracy.

It's amazing to have them around in our lives. My grandfather is a gentle soul who has spent his entire life spoiling his granddaughter but also sharing his stories so that we will never forget what they went through for us. I cherish every day with him! I even had a breakfast date within this morning. It was great.

I am saddened to report that my beloved grandfather, who taught me so much about history and why we need to protect democracy passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. I only bring this up because it was just yesterday. I mentioned how lucky we were to have him in our lives. His message always was to fight for democracy to never let a dictator or fascist take over this beautiful country. So for him I will honor his legacy and continue to fight. @adam kinzinger He always admired you. I think he would have loved each and everyone of you that are standing up for democracy. Let's keep this fight going.

The actions of many of our politicians are disgusting and unconscionable. Their concern only for their asses brings a whole new meaning to the phrase “America, the land of opportunity”. Maybe the country needs to take “land of the brave” out of our national anthem. And if trump prevails in the election, we’ll need to take out “home of the free” too.

WE are the brave ones who must do everything possible to relegate Trump, MAGA, the "freedom caucus" and all of their power-hungry sycophants to the ash can of history. Together we can prove that America is truly the Home of the Brave.

This morning, when I saw that Alexei Navalny had died, the one word that hit me was Noble; he was a Nobleman. You don't see his kind often anymore. The Dictionary defines the word Noble as moral, ethical, virtuous, righteous, and noble, meaning conforming to a standard of what is right and good. We should all aspire to be more Noble these days. Rest in Peace Navalny, you made the world a better place just by being here.

Thank you Adam for this tribute to such a courageous man. As Congress sits on their hands and awaits their masters command, putins grip tightens and expands around the world. Excellent tribute, Adam! When I read the news this morning I was saddened by his death. I have kept up with him for years and have loved and admired him. To think this courageous and committed to freedom man would come back to Russia after being poisoned, knowing he would be imprisoned, was something beyond being brave. It was in his soul to be what he was. I plan to get a tee shirt emblazoned with one word in caps: Navalny. I will never forget him. I’m sure some will think I am wearing a designer shirt but for those who ask, I will gladly tell them about Navalny.
