You've passed the integrity exam: Your votes into office and as incumbent were NOT neck and neck, or toe to toe, or however a nail-biter vote nearly 50/50 is best described. You have done well for many of us, Adam, and we will reflect that back to you.
Attempts to demonize you were likely borne of jealousies and insecurities. Those whose paychecks depended on unconditional loyalty to Dr. DumDum might have thought you'd be an easy stomp. Surprise, surprise.

I too am a Reagan Republican but somehow over the years we have become too complacent with our elected officials, blindly following their lead without examining deeper motivations and issues. We, the constituents, are our own best advocates. Anticipating a good read.
