I'm very happy too. I spent most of my Saturday watching the House votes. My friends in Ukraine are pleased. Adam, thank you for your support.

Truly a marvelous and historic day. I can only imagine how the Ukraines are feeling. I’m so thankful that we are finally getting the right thing done and that aide will go out ASAP.

Finally enough Republicans joined with Democrats to do the right thing passing the funding package for Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel. Took way too long but I am so thankful it did. Ukraine must win this war against Russia.

Thanks Adam! I’ve been feeling the same way. I hope we can keep this positive energy and bipartisan feeling going towards healing our country.

Me too. Its really important today, that big things can get done against the terrorists in congress

I’m feeling a slight sense of change in some of the members of Congress (coming to terms with reality?) and I’m hoping that this is a move on both sides towards putting Country First. ‘You may say that I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one…’

With you Adam, great day to be an American. Will sleep better tonight knowing all those days/nights on alert in the waning days of SAC weren't wasted. Time to keep the momentum going and take out the trash in November...

Needed that refueling...

Congratulations! You have become an important part of a significant bipartisan effort that could potentially loosen the tight grip MAGA has on the GOP. As your supporters, we deserve a moment of pride, although I must admit I haven’t always seen eye to eye with you on Ukraine. Initially, I was concerned that your stance might fracture our diverse coalition of supporters by bringing personal convictions into play. However, the end result is reassuring. Your robust support for Ukraine has not only achieved its desired support for Ukraine, but also encouraged open communication and cooperation. Job well done. You have great vision for how to get things done politically and a heart to serve.

This is so great, yet so disturbing that we Americans have to be concerned about a faction abandoning allies fighting and dying on our behalf. That's despicable. That being said, 75% is pretty damn good.

I'm a new subscriber (from AZ) and I have joined you and the other subscribers as former Democrat and present Independent but always as a "real" AMERICAN! I too am relieved and happy. I want to thank you, too, Adam, for your courage and strength. And if you have some way of getting through to them more directly than I, could you please thank the Ukranian people for what they have suffered these last months and months on not only their's, but our behalves. We should never, ever forget what they are doing for the world. I look forward to your future videos. Keep on truckin'...we're right behind you!

Yes, this! Adam Kinzinger actually served in the army unlike Captain Bone Spurs.

I just started reading The Splendid and the Vile by Eric Larson about Churchill during the war years. He wrote how people in the street would cheer and congratulate him on becoming Prime Minister. And he wept and said "Poor people, poor people. They trust me, and I can give them nothing but disaster for quite a long time." And it was to be years of horror and death. But they came through.

The world had sat by for too long, and they paid the price.

I am thankful for speaker Johnson's courage and believe this country (and the world) has a future because of people like Adam Kinzinger. Who we should not forget has paid a price in support of what is right and this great country of ours.

Fantastic book! I read it a while ago. Right now I'm trying to get through "Five Days in London, May 1940" about the debate on whether to negotiate with Hitler. It's just been too busy for me to get to it now, but it continues to beckon from my bookshelf.

I just finished The Spectre of War by Jonathan Haslam, about how the threat of communism aided Hitlers rise to power and subsequently WWII. The extremes on both left and right today empower each other, just like in the 1930's.

Bravo Adam. Very proud of you as well; you really make me proud to be a Northern Illinois native, and you represent the best of the family, friends and folks I grew up with in Rockford and Loves Park.

I am happy, but not proud because the Trump induced delay cost Ukraine lives and momentum in fighting Russia. We need: 1) Biden, Zellensky and Austin talking what they need to win the war, 2) getting it to them without delay, 3) press reporting on the war again (its a shame I can't find much other than BBC covering it, and 4) celebrating Ukraine's resilience and our support against the real axis oof evil - Russia, Iran, and NK. The latter two will be more measured if we keep on swinging to win. It will take defeating Putin to change Russians and they are stepping up their cyber war against us to cause us elect the traitorous buffoon, soon to be a convicted criminal one hopes.
