I became an Independent years ago. Voting for the best person available should not require party affiliation. However, it has been a very long time since I voted for a Republican. If you or Liz Chaney ever run for president I believe many non affiliated voters would look closely. Overall, I’m afraid there are so many corrupt congress critters who have sold themselves to gain power and money that it seems difficult to see through the smoke and mirrors to find an honest candidate.

Thank you! I know the reporters are doing their job but the onslaught I am sure isn’t easy. However, dealing with the asshats of congress is far more difficult and stressful. I fail to understand these radicals and how it is helping the country. That is what their job is and why they were elected.

NOW we have Matty Gaetz doing his thing. Kevin sold his soul to be called Mr. Speaker for a minute and he agreed to allow ONE person to start the process to can him. Happy day Kevin, BUT, what IS this doing to help the American people. If I hear ONE more of these nerds talking about what the American people want and what THEY are dong for the American people I'm going ...well...going to,...well not sure but it wont' be pretty. This is a further showing of the impotence and fecklessness of today's Republican party. Can it really get more shameful? I keep waiting for the bottom and it seems it never comes, they just go lower and lower. How sorry they have become and WE ARE paying the price.
The one thing I know for CERTAIN is, Donald Trump can never again see the inside of the White House and I'll do anything, vote for Atilla The Hun, before I cast a vote for him and really most all other Republicans at this point. My state is full of Trump supporters, election deniers, conspiracy pushers and they will be on the ballot. Also 104 of our most experienced election officials have resigned.
