The moron is a useful idiot for miller and his ilk, the ones who wrote Project 2025, their playbook. Just listening to him speak and reading his posts, he is sliding quickly into dementia. Why isn’t the media reporting that? What do they have on the media that makes them afraid? And what about Congress? A bunch of sycophants. If Dems did any of these cruel things rethugs would be screaming!

YOU ARE CORRECT, SIR.

The 2024 election WAS corrupted by voter suppression. They learned from their mistakes and now they have it down. Check it out. Greg Palast, did a film called,

"VIGILANTE" in Georgia and proved the votes were being suppressed through a bill they used to call "THE JIM CROW LAW". AND! the swing states votes were tampered with, and the people that are dealing with it are finally going public. THERE IS N O WAY THAT tRUMP WON. HE HAD NO CROWDS LIKE THE HARRIS/WALZ CAMPAIGN HAD. PLEASE WATCH THE VIGILANTE MOVIE-IT'LL BLOW YOU AWAY. BLATANT CHEATING.

Is any of this surprising? The march to an autocratic oligarchy continues. Is that even a thing or is this country inventing new ways to announce a dictator? Rep Tom Suozzi of NY on Face The Nation yesterday made some of the first logical statements I’ve heard from a Democrat. Their voices need to be louder or this country will be in a shameful state on our 250th birthday.

The question I have is, why are the Congress and Supreme Court so willing to give up their power to a wouldbe autocrat? It can't be because Trump is such superb manager and president. Frankly, he stinks at both.

A Donald Trump is exactly the type of political personality the Founding Fathers feared. We now face that individual and the other two branches appear to be in surrender mode. I've been around for eighty-two years and I have never seen such a spineless Congress or such a useless Supreme Court.

Agreed! But I”ve now started pushing back on people I know who have dumbfounded me by saying, β€œI just can’t look at the news,” or β€œI can’t bear to read about politics anymore.” I stare. I allow my jaw to drop. And then I say, β€œYou CAN’T not watch! You MUST pay attention! This is not the time to look away!”

Then I commiserate a bit, as I also would rather not know this stuff is happening, but looking away and plugging your ears HELPS it happen! I’m not insisting these nice people, who are definitely not Trump supporters, go out and marchβ€”but disengaging from reality is a gift to the destructive forces of Project 2025 and its tools, like Trump. Conversationβ€” and thoughts!β€”make a difference.

This article explains why: if you're willing to give up your power, in a fascist regime, you'll become filthy rich.

And there's more. In Thiel's case, it's IDEOLOGY. These people love to think (albeit it in a floppy way). The neofascist billionaires in Silicon Valley have been coming together for years, holding lectures, writing books etc. literally arguing that democracy is bad and fascism good.

So it's not just the combination of profound personal insecurity and boundless greed (Miller), it's also (in the case of Thiel, Vance, Andreessen, Sachs, Musk, ...) the strong conviction that "the best" (read: they themselves) should rule the world, because only that can "save humanity", and to rule the world without having "mediocre" people "limiting your freedom"... you need fascism, not a democracy.

As to Congress: Democrats are fighting back like hell, with a very strong moral spine. The GOP who controls it, however, in part have been scared into "anticipatory obedience" (as Sen. Murkowski explained) and in part has itself become neofascist.

You could see that when you saw Speaker Johnson last week enthusiastically support one of the pillars of fascism, when he said that he sees it as his job to make Congress "codify" the executive orders the president signs (and that HE didn't wrote; the neofasists behind the scenes, including Project 2025 architects, write them).

That is indeed the role of Congress in fascism, which bundles ("fasces" means "bundle" in Latin) the power of the judicial and legislative branches of government into that of the executive branch.

A democracy requires the opposite: the executive "faithfully executes" the bills that the people's representatives in Congress debate and then vote for.

It is CRUCIAL to understand this, rather than to imagine that the GOP Congress would be merely "passive". So no, the GOP is not "spineless", it is fully in on it!!

It is all part of the plan. Decades in the making, a court bought and crafted by right wing oligarchs. The republicans have created a loyalty to the cult, and a fear of independent thought. Meanwhile Dems continue to fret about doing the right thing, following the process, and saving the downtrodden. They ( repubs) had to get past checks and balances, and they did so with purpose. I understand the makeup of the legislature. That is not my point. I am saying that the republicans have played the long game, working together with a cult like loyalty to their ideology. Slowly assembling a scotus with time and money. Lots of both. Leanord Leo has been focused on the federal judiciary for decades. We liberals are free thinkers, and less prone to group thinking. More prone to the status quo in politics. Which is why we lost in 2016 and 2024. Why we lost Roe ect…

Anyone surprised? Just more corruption at the WH. An everyday event. These people couldn't survive without corruption, it's what they live for - not truth and honesty. I am so glad that we aren't like them. They can take their corruption and billions and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. Someday they will find out that corruption doesn't pay, but that honesty does. We will get our country back and they will be on the sidelines looking in. Hopefully behind bars for the rest of their lives with no pardons, unable to spend their fortunes. Just another prisoner, "saying I don't belong here. I didn't do anything wrong."

Seems to me the celebration of our 250th birthday should be a year of coordinated massive protest, economic boycott and other, imaginative forms of resistance to virtually everything this administration stands for. The founders, while rolling in their graves, knew this was likely and indeed would probably be amazed it's taken 250 years for it to occur. They'd also be proud as hell of what we must do to prevent it.

So now we truly know the deep state of this country.

Adam this isn’t news at all. Miller is the brain of the 79 years old adolescent.

He wants to destroy our democracy and replace the Constitution with what he wants: white nationalism.

Project 2025 is extremely racist against people of color.

The main stream media outlets and those who are on social media platforms are so afraid to speak out against this racism that it is pathetic and disgusting in this country.

White Nationalists with secularism are destroying our nation.

I wish people on these types of platforms would begin to have a serious discussion about systemic racism!!!

Everyone needs to stop avoiding the conversation about race relations and start addressing the issues.

Corporate America and the wealthy refuse to be honest about it.

Wake up people.

A house divided against itself cannot stand!!!

Be Blessed Adam

Please don’t just dwell on their evil methods without looking into the root cause of all this: the fascist takeover of our k-12 schools four decades ago. The teacher whistleblowers crying out for help since 2002 at WhiteChalkCrime.com and EndTeacherAbuse.org need an investigative reporter to do for this issue - the destruction of democracy - as Ronin Farrow did to end the Harvey Weinstein saga. In that case Weinstein demanded sex and used his power to keep it going. In this case they are demanding that teachers follow orders harmful to children and democracy and all including the unions are going along to get along. Why will no one investigate? That question explains why so many people elected Trump - they see all leaders as corrupt one way or another, unwilling to stop corruption, so let’s try something different.

It is corrupt to ignore our teachers. It is ignoring the people called to create citizens. They were the soul of our nation until they became the hollow shells that society deserted. Why is this still happening during these treacherous times? I’ll tell you why. The fascists succeeded at dumbing us down and disrespecting teachers for what fascists ordered them to do; most of us don’t realize what these fascists took from us by stealing our schools - our collective soul.

It was teachers who used to teach the value of democracy and citizenship. Once that ended democracy began to unravel.

I explain this in my book A Graver Danger, a memoir of my teaching days. Our schools are the gravest danger to democracy and yet investigating this isn’t a thought amongst reporters.

In fact, when a reporter listened to my plea in 2001, she said she didn’t believe me. They didn’t believe there were abusive priests for decades while boys had to deal with their abuse. Actresses were afraid to report Weinstein. Falling for cover up’s is this nation’s biggest failing.

I have an organization of teachers ready and willing to testify and share evidence. We’d make an investigative reporter’s job easy. Why isn’t that happening? The answer to that question also is the answer to how we ended up with Trump. We’re a nation that doesn’t respect our teachers.
