The challenge is reaching many of those single-issue voters, people I think are being selfish about one issue and disregard 10 other ones that could be catastrophic (Dictatorship, throwing out the Constitution, revenge on enemies, mass deportation, scrubbing reproductive rights and access to birth control, tossing environmental protections out the window, breaking up NATO, using blackmail to force Allies into compliance, abandoning Ukraine, on and on). I saw a lady on our local news who sells real estate who said that MAY keep her from voting for Joe Biden .... really? Because she's not killing it as a real estate agent. You can't it have both ways - its a seller's market right now, not a buyer's unless they are willing to compromise a bit. Very alarming. I'm going to Florida today for a week to visit friends. Living on St. Croix USVI, we have only a few crackpot Trumpsters. No one listens to them. We still don't have the vote, but neither do we have the discord. It will be interesting to explore neighborhoods in Florida and see what, if any, signage there is. Project 2025, Agenda 47 and the rest of their garbage is going to scare people to death if any of it comes to pass. But by then it will be too late. I may start contributing to the Lincoln Project again. I was doing that in 2020 and was glad to see their ads on primetime television at the time. Sometime in 2021 they changed their donor financial processing contractor and my monthly donation was never collected after that. I've been too lazy to get it set up again but now might be the time to do that. With enough contributions maybe they can run these ads in primetime once again.

I may start contributing to the Lincoln Project again. I was doing that in 2020 and was glad to see their ads on primetime television at the time. Sometime in 2021 they changed their donor financial processing contractor and my monthly donation was never collected after that. I've been too lazy to get it set up again but now might be the time to do that. With enough contributions maybe they can run these ads in primetime once again.

Please mention that of those 50,000 or so jobs only 4000 of them now are political appointees. So instead of hiring someone with the right knowledge and expertise to do their job, we will get 45,000 more employees who just have to pass a loyalty to the party . We all know how Trump hires the 'best' people. Without job security these 50,000 employees would be cycled through being fired every 4 or 8 years depending on which political party holds the white house. No stability just political shenanigans in some of our most important government departments.

In the unlikely event that Trump wins the White House he will implement Project 2025 (and I fully expect he will if elected) and the MAGA Republicans will never relinquish the Presidency. To do so is antithetic to their vision for America as laid out in Project 2025. We will have lost our democracy. According to Kevin Roberts "We are in the middle of the second American Revolution, which will be bloodless if the left allows it." Our victory in that 'second American Revolution' CAN be bloodless if we are determined and effective in getting out the vote in every state for the DEMOCRATIC Presidential Nominee in November. Remember, only the Republicans are dropping hints of bloodshed if they don't get their way.

It’s a big lie that the orange man-baby is unaware of it. Ali Velshi did a clip on MSNBC on Sunday about the authors of various chapters of Project 2025 manifesto. To name but a few: tfg’s chief of staff, his White House deputy chief of staff, his deputy secretary of homeland security, his director of police planning in the state department. Ali goes through the notebook chapter by chapter calling out these former lackeys of the orange man-baby. It’s insane.
Keith Olberman this morning said that 80%(at least)of those involved with P2025 worked in the felon’s administration. Of course the felon is lying. The truth is not in him.

Sadly I doubt he will take the time to read it (I am only 100 pages in and it's a very dry read in lots of sections). Much easier to be a mushroom that is kept in the dark and loves all of the bullshit that it is fed!
