Can you also discuss Project 2025? It's so figgin scary 😨

The writing is on the wall as Trump is laying the groundwork to call this election fraudulent. What can be done now to help defuse the angry ‘patriot’ mob mentality that is certain to follow a Trumpian loss?

I would love to know if you're coming to the DNC convention as a part of the Republicans for Harris PAC or Country 1st.

Also, I would love to hear you discuss the election deniers being in positions to certify election results at the county levels in swing states.

This is massive issue. Really.

In terms of dnc, stay tuned

Yes, there's a new book in just released by R Maddow's producer that apparently gives us a solution playbook for how to address this issue & what we can do. I'm planning on taking a glance at it.

As far as the DNCC, I'm a delegate so I'll be there! I've never been to a convention before & am really excited & nervous. It was kind of a fluke that I was even elected. I researched how to do it after another Democrat told me about being a delegate last Aug while I was working for the first time as a poll worker (election judge). I started looking into how to run back in Jan & went through all the steps to make myself eligible. Then, on the day that state delegates were elected, I showed up at the meeting, didn't know anyone, & found out everyone there was automatically a state delegate. I said I was interested in being a national delegate & showed up at the county meeting. There were 4 spots available & 6 of us ran. I was 1 of the 4 voted through!

I was fortunate to be elected at the County level as the state wide delegate election was really competitive. There were 40 spots & close to 100 applicants.

So, any convention pointers you have I'd love to hear! I've been reading everything I can find in order to familiarize myself with everything before I get there!

Will definitely be staying tuned! 🙂

I live in Arizona and this issue scares me so much!

I"ve often wondered if there is another way to approach gun control.

The Second Amendment says:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

It does not say anything about the right to own military grade ammunition that is not well-regulated. Would it be possible to enact a law making it illegal for non-military ownership of military grade ammunition and be specific as to what type of ammunition qualifies as military grade and what is militia grade? This would not infringe upon anyones right to own and bear arms to secure their states' militia--well-regulated or not.

I am tired of evangelicals who support Donald Trump call themselves Christians. Enough is enough. The world has tried to define who we are especially through secular media. True believers and followers Of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ are not fooled by the poisonous kool aid being drunk by the republican cult party.

They make Christians look like fools.

Donald Trump is an ungodly man full of lies and deception.

I would love for you and others tell the truth about what we believe and why we believe what we believe to the secular media. I’m not trying to judge anyone and definitely those who have been deceived.

True Worshipers Worship God In Spirit And Truth!!!

God did not send a mere man full of himself to be the anointed leader of a political party.

Now I said all that so when you address individuals upon why we don’t support certain policies that democrats want us to support it’s because we are convicted by The Holy Scriptures and The Spirit Of Truth.

Donald Trump should have never been allowed to run for president especially after he was a convicted felon. The republicans had several other politicians who had impeccable integrity they could have chosen. Instead because their greed they stayed with their demigod. Trump can still step down and like the democrats they can seek another nominee. They already have egg in their faces. So I hope you will be an inspiration to others in this space.

Be blessed and stay safe Adam!!!

Can we talk about how Trump amd Elon said they want to shrink government for efficiency- but then Trump talked about building a giant “iron dome” over America, Elon said we should create a new gov agency that he would be in charge of, Trump ran around saying Japanese bullet trains are amazing and Elon talked about building tunnels and space.

That doesn’t sound like shrinking government

Hope to be there. Due to TS Ernesto the entire US Virgin Islands are without power. Have been since last night. That means almost everyone is losing all their frozen and refrigerated food. After hurricanes Maria and Irma in 2017, Don-old thought our governor was president of a separate country. Then he threw paper towels at the people of Puerto Rico. If he manages to regain power, I’m afraid he’ll realize we are a US Territory and sell or give us away to Russia or China. Do you think he has the power to do that? Would he be able to dispose of all the territories? We are US citizens.

Insane Clown might try to trade you for Greenland. Because it must be a great place for a golf course if they call it Greenland. Then again Insane Clown is still trying to figure out why Washington crossed the Delaware when he could have just taken I-95!

Safe travels Linda. I'm in the Northeast US, but parts of my family were devastated by Maria. I remember the paper towels. And yes, he didn't recognize US citizens which is job #1.

I’m interested! Hopefully, two topics that will be addressed are the failure of the media in reporting relevant information concerning both candidates, and Donald Trump’s mental decline.

Thank you for the invitation to join the conversation.

Hi Adam - what ever happened to the separation of church and state? No one ever discusses this issue. I know it’s a part of the First Amendment, but it certainly seems that Donald Trump and his ilk want to move us towards a Christian nationalist country. What are your thoughts on this?

Thank you from a fellow veteran!

I’d like you to talk about what the Republicans will do different, policy wise to strengthen our beleaguered middle class after Trump leaves the picture.

So far, Kamala Harris is riding a wave of popularity which has seen her largely erase the lead that Trump had in the polls, and she has largely done so without talking to anyone or offering any policy specifics. However, the way I see it, at some point she has to start giving interviews and engaging with the media. How do you see it?

Oh can we also discuss how Trump has been flying to campaign fundraisers on Jeffrey Epsteins Learjet

By how many percentage points does K Harris have to win the election to ensure she gets the votes in the Electoral College? (I.e. Clinton in 2016).

Expand full comment

Hi there. As you may know, there are 538 votes available in the Electoral College. Each state controls a different number of votes. For example, California controls 54 votes while Wyoming controls only 3. (Washington DC also controls 3). The result of the popular vote, nationwide, is (unfortunately) not used in determining the next prez. Sorry if this isn’t what you meant.

Expand full comment

Correct. I'm just saying that when looking at poll numbers & specifically the national poll numbers, we need to see Harris polling around 52%-53%.

Of course it's the individual battleground states that matter but, if past is prologue, Harris needs a solid majority in the national popular vote in order to win. Otherwise, even if she gets more votes, if she doesn't clear that 50% by 2-3% then we're likely to see a repeat of 2000 & 2016.

Obviously it comes down to the electoral college votes but, just for context on how she's doing, the Democrats who have won got over 50% of the vote & the ones who lost the EC even though they won the popular vote didn't win the popular vote by 50% or more.

Expand full comment

You probably know this but the election will come down to the results in the key swing states. Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, (& North Carolina is looking to be in play this year).

As is mentioned there are 538 electoral college votes total. 270 to win is the requirement. This being said, what I've noticed is that the Democrat candidate has to get over 50% of the popular vote to win. There's nothing specific tied to that number, just something I've picked up on. When Hillary & Trump ran in 2016, neither got over 50% of the popular vote. Hillary got more votes but neither got a majority. Same with the election in 2000. Bushe received 47.9% of the popular vote & Gore received 48.4%. Of course these are really the 2 examples I have to go on but, in scenarios where the Dem candidate wins the popular vote by a majority, they've won the presidency. Biden got something like 51% in 2020.

This was one of the most concerning things about Biden's poll numbers before he pulled out. He just couldn't clear that 50% mark. So, even though a lot of polls showed them in a tie by the margin of error, neither candidate cleared 50% which would've most certainly given Trump the win.

This is why it's so important that when you vote, you don't just not cast a vote for Trump but that you vote for the candidate most likely to beat Trump which is Harris. We need there to be more people voting for her than against her & the anti Trump voters need to combine their votes behind one candidate.

Expand full comment

This is what I did in 2020. I've never voted for Trump, but I did vote for that other guy in 2016. But realizing the existential threat that Trump posed even in 2020, I voted for Biden. And of course I'm voting for Harris/Walz. The big change for me in the last 4 years is how incredibly excited I am to vote Democrat this year.

I would love to hear you and Liz Cheney speak at the convention. I made a comment about the Harris campaign needing to address the border and immigration and the very next day I saw their ad on the issue. I would love to see more of the same including possibly as sit-down interview with someone like David Muir devoted to the border and immigration. I think the campaign should take ownership of the issue, pointing out that the Republicans reneged on the bipartisan first step solution because of the Traitor's wishes. This is an issue which spans many years and administrations of both parties and this time it will get done and get done right. A way to control the narrative and address something very important to the electorate. One by one, take on the issues most important to the country. Women's rights should already be in the win column, unions obviously to go Democratic, people of color should not buy into any of the Traitor's claims of providing help to them. Actually, no sane person would vote for the Traitor. Also, emphasize down ballot races. Must win both houses and close the lid on Pandora's box.
