And if you want to talk character, realize this. On the week before Christmas, just after Joe Biden won the Senate, he was picking out caskets to bury his wife and one year old daughter. His two sons were in critical condition in the hospital, in the same accident that put their mom and sister in the morgue. He raised them as a single dad while working in the senate. I believe the undecideds need to see Biden stay coherent, move to the middle on issues, and not act old. If Trump was polished, he could easily put Biden on the defensive on such issues as Afghanistan, giving conditional support to Israel, his administrations ideas of eliminating household gas stoves and water heaters and, of course, the border. Fortunately for Biden, Trump can't stay on topic, will call everything a disaster, everybody corrupt, any accusation a lie, will repeat whatever conspiracy theory tweet he happened to read before the debate, and, when asked how he will lead, will say that he could solve everything in one day without specifics.
