Of course that's what's happening...do you think the Bloated Yam cares one drop about his country? He ran to avoid prison. He did. Now he'll let his caporegimes run the nation, pay their tribute to the Don, and spend his days at Mar-A-Lago, alternating between playing golf and exacting vengeance on his enemies, real and imaginary.

I can’t wait to see this mountain of incompetence come tumbling down. I hope I get to see this abomination of an administration pay the piper in terms of lost elections for years to come!

As much as I would like to think that Americans are smart enough to see how terrible Trump has been for the country, didn't we say the same after his first term? Yet, here we are with Trump in power again.

The dumb voters who voted for him won't change their minds until something happens to them directly that affects them negatively and they just might get their wishes. Even then I think some of these morons will still hold their stubborn support for the orange menace.

Look at the idiot illegal immigrants who supported him (not vote but supported) knowing he wants to deport them because holding on to their machismo ideas was more important than staying in US. One of them said, if I get deported then I get deported. smh..

Trump is a middle finger to the establishment at a time when people have lost faith in the American dream.

Used to be if you worked hard and got an education there was a good chance you could own your own home and make a better life for your family. The cost of housing , healthcare and education have skyrocketed while people are forced to work two or three jobs just to stay even. No more pensions, people can’t even look forward to retirement and all the time more and more wealth goes to fewer and fewer people.

It will be interesting to see the red state reactions if Trump actually does what he says. Deport millions of illegals? The agriculture, service and construction industries may have second thoughts. Tariffs? Consumer prices will skyrocket as those costs are passed along and retaliatory tariffs are levied on everything we export including agricultural commodities. Health care? Rolling back the ACA will take health care away from millions and insurance companies will once again put life time caps on benefits and deny coverage for preexisting conditions. Social Security, Medicare, Medicare?

Republicans in congress better wake up. If Trump does half of what he says he will throw them all under the bus.

I couldn't agree more! We seem to be lemmings going over a cliff and are oblivious to the danger. I ache for my children and grandchildren. They are going to have to face the outcome of our stupidity and weakness. they deserve better.

"Give me your tired, your poor....." So perhaps we should scrap the symbol of our nation for sheet metal, because it's become nothing more than a lie. We ALL have an immigrant posterity. So does Trump. So soon he for gets.

I just met a man while getting groceries. Struck up a conversation. He said so much about foods, it quickly turned to RFK his food talk, oils we cook in, and carbs we eat.

This man was lovely, but he likes what’s RFK has said, he sounded intelligent and wasn’t pushy w me. He has his mind firmly in RFKs lane.

I wish I knew that lovely comedic come back.

I was told once “ you can’t eat here we soak everything in gluten water”

I wish I had a funny line to come back to someone who feels RFK is gonna change our food industry? He’s not over ag, but what if all of gluten containing foods suddenly RFK thinks no regulation works for him? I’ll be in thr ER then.

With Polio, probably. Or maybe measles. Don't you love living in the Middle Ages? And I love that he called food that Trump has on his plane poison, and then takes a picture proudly waving a Big Mac in the air. Perhaps he is trying to commit suicide before he take on the health of the nation. I could go for that!

May that all come true. And may that happen instead of a collapse of much of the good ideas and careful construction of our government by our founding fathers designed to prevent dictators from taking over the country.

The staggering incompetence of Trump’s loyalists will sink the Republican Party for a generation unless enough Republicans in Congress think long and hard about their own power and influence after Trump is gone.

I grew up in a diplomatic family, and I can guarantee that every true diplomat is having a good laugh with his/her colleagues about these "appointees" behind closed doors, making them completely ineffectual. But, then , the Trumpzis are pretty much all fakes and cons anyway, so there really is no pretense of actually ever DOING anything constructive besides "grifting". Trump is for some strange reason under the impression that people respect him - they don't, and they certainly will not respect the swamp creatures he is sending their way. I really have my doubts as to whether the US will make it through this - but I do hope so. The US has always been a beacon of diplomacy and their emissaries well-respected - that is, sadly, coming to an end.

Thanks for all you have done - and will do, Mr. Kinzinger !

Question? With C. Kushner - and his multiple felonies - receiving an ambassadorship to France, does the Orange Worm really believe the French will give him a warm reception? Strike a business deal? If they're smart, they'll have as little to do with him as possible, and that the COS - Chief of Station - will be on him like a fly on a cow dung.

Although this is par for the course for the Orange Worm, it puzzles me that he keeps putting in totally incompetent people in any and all positions. Why? Perhaps because he, himself, doesn't understand the governing of a country such as the U.S. Or, maybe he doesn't want to be usurped by someone who is far more intelligent than he could ever be?

I guess when he occupied the WH the first time, he was surrounded by competent advisors - Mattis, Kelly, McMasters, and a slew of others - advising him of his many intentions being unconstitutional. Which led to the idea of doing away with or putting the U.S. Constitution on "hold" while he occupied the WH.

Curiouser and curiouser.

He is not remotely interested in governing. He only ran to avoid prison. All he wants is adoration, to take credit for everything that is good and zero responsibility for all his bad. And revenge.

I swear I wanna strangle the NBC morons who created "The Apprentice". So help me god he wouldn't have been president had he not done that show. "Reality" TV, the absolute dumbing down of America. I will never understand how people watch it.

I think that there are a lot of people here asking the same questions.

Unfortunately, a preemptive response will be described by trumplicans and maga as the "deep state", "radical left", or whatever other derogatory term they choose, as trying to obstruct trump's progress.

Sadly, I think we'll have to wait until things get bad in order to successfully point out that trump's "corrupt state" is actually why things are getting so bad.

The problems? 1) He’s doing PRECISELY what he said he would do! And there is NOTHING and NOBODY who will stop him from continuing to do it. Anybody who claims surprise or “buyer’s remorse” is *lying*. 2) And no matter how bad it gets, thanks to fox, twitter, Rogan, and the rest of the wingnut media, in 4 years every single person who voted for this scumbag excuse for a “man” would gleefully vote for him AGAIN. The damage he will do will take a decade to repair, if there’s anything left TO repair.

Thanks for keeping us updated Adam! I did hear years ago, that trump had planned an allogarchy for his 2nd term. One where there would never be a presidential vote again and he would pass the reins down to family members 😳. I believe this was drawn up by Bannon (another criminal).

I just remember how sickening it was during a first term cabinet meeting and having each member praise him one by one. You could tell the ones that we very uncomfortable with that! Sickening!

With the way he has been picking people in his administration, it's not surprising that he is just turning around and asking anybody in the room if they need a job. He's asking family members because at least he'll know their name. It really doesn't matter who he picks in all these positions because he really doesn't need them. He's has all the answers and he thinks he is the smartest person in the room. We shall see!
