Adam, any decline is due to propaganda. Trump is in running with the Russian and Chinese bots in the "America is ruined" propaganda stakes. Sadly, so many people believe the lies and live a life without hope.
If people could look at the big picture, America has progressed from the pandemic and is moving forward and upward.

You bring such hope to many who would otherwise be mired in the deep doo-doo that the maga cult and their orange man-baby leader continue to spew daily. I really don’t know why or when people forgot that there is an ebb and flow of life. Sometimes your pick of leaders win and other years the other side wins. You just go on living your life with integrity and maybe next time your man/woman will win. That’s the EBB and FLOW. It’s how humans have lived for thousands of years. that ebb and flow theory doesn't hold true if one major political party decides not to accept that our elections are binding- which is what is happening at an alarming rate right now- the VP's auditioning won't say they will accept the 2024 results, the trump family RNC just fired a person for not being outspoken enough about not saying they will accept the election results no matter who wins. It's very disturbing and if that party wins in 2024 there is good chance America n democracy will disappear or be in name only.
I agree with what you’ve said. It’s that common ground that Adam wrote about that binds us all to the idea we’re all in this together regardless if we have some differing views and interests. Everyone has to choose that stance for the overall concept to work. Believing one’s ideals and opinions are the only way to construct a society cuts that flow off.

There is not a single country in this world that doesn’t have issues. It’s how they/we work together to solve those issues. You are correct, I was not happy with Reagan and GWB as president, but I never worried that they wanted to be Dictators and take down our entire government system to satisfy their egos. DJT has brought out the lunatics that want to defeat our Democracy. I watched the Documentary about the Oklahoma bombing in 1995 and where we are today. Those are the people who support Trump. Scary, very scary.
Thank you, Adam. I love your writings and concur with a prior post that your videos are so uplifting. It’s so easy to get sucked down the rabbit hole of the Trump/MAGA/despair. We all need to take a step back and realize we are the greatest nation in the world, we are the United States of America. We have to pull together and fight back. I remember listening to Trumps Inaugural address and hearing that George Bush allegedly said “that’s some weird shit”. My dad passed away in 2023 and up until his last days, he would get so upset and all he would think about is the world in which his grandson (29 at the time) would be having. My son will become a father within the next 3 weeks and now, it’s our turn to think what kind of world will our grandson be living in, what will he have?
Adam, your comments always resonate with me. I’ve admired you from the time you stepped up and joined the Jan 6 Committee. Keep up your comments, perspective and passion. We need to hear it.

Real patriots don’t just wave a flag around.
They contribute to their communities, they vote, they volunteer.
They respect our service men and women and honor all Americans , no matter race or creed.
Bowing to the orange man and storming the capital are not patriotic activities.
