Adam… I would say you agreed because you are a good person with a great deal of intelligence who clearly understands what has happened to your party and still has much to give to his country. Joining in support of the Democrats shows power and smarts that it will take a broad based team to rid our country of the corruption and authoritarianism being preached by TFG and MAGA… and trust me, the Dems are thrilled to have you on board and I for one can’t wait to hear what you have to say!!! Good point. We will probably not agree on everything with our candidate, nor should we as the issues we face are very complex. But the relative minutiae of policy vs. the preservation of our system, the sanctity of our Constitution, and the rule of law are what Adam is referring to.
Country first, last, and always. Policy and philosophy are of no use if our system is dismantled.

I’m not sure I have the words to describe how much I admire you. My Dad was Republican district leader in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn for many years. He loved it. When I became a registered Democrat, he put his hand to his heart in mock despair, rolled his eyes heavenward, and asked “Where did I go wrong?” I adored him. We had a lot of a lot of fun debating and kidding each other. If he were alive today, he would not recognize his own party. In fact, I think his heart would be kind of broken. Thank you for standing up for people like my Dad.

For standing up for true and putting country first. You and those like you who stand up for true are the people who are shining light of freedom, true and patriotism. I look forward to your speech and also Geoff Duncan the former LT governor of Georgia, who I understand will speak Wednesday. Our forefathers Invision a government where we all worked together to find solutions not this us versus them division the Trump pushes. Thank You for everything you do and have done for this country
